Super peaceful stay in Rutherglen. We had a great time sitting around, making BBQ dinners and playing board games. Felt like a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. Only 5 minutes from the town centre. Can't wait to come back!

The Residence

We loved our stay at The Residence at Mount Ophir Estate. The house is beautiful, extremely well equipped, cosy yet spacious with multiple dining areas, and perfect for our group.

The location was not far from Rutherglen and is a beautiful estate. Lucy was an excellent communicator and check-in was very easy. We would love to visit again. Thank you!

The Lodge

We stayed at The Lodge for our Mother and Daughter escape! It was perfect for our getaway with scenic views, and the peace and quiet was sensational. We were feeling relaxed as soon as we arrived!

Once again, the accommodation was well presented as per the other accommodation available at Mount Ophir that I have stayed at. Highly recommend this property and I'll be back!

The Lodge

Warm on arrival, lovely styling, generous touches like plentiful coffee pods, quality continental breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine. We stayed in The Lodge as two couples and it was warm, peaceful and very clean.

The beds were super comfy and had electric blankets as well as extra throws. The sun coming through the bay window in the front room is perfect for a winter afternoon nap.

Walking through the property is interesting and very pretty at sundown. I highly recommend for a getaway in the wine region of Rutherglen. While there we ate at Thousand Pound in Rutherglen and at Bonnie at All Saints - both delicious and excellent service.

Pickers Cottage

We have been making our annual pilgrimage to Rutherglen for more than two decades. Mt Ophir Estate is well located in term of wineries and setting. The Pickers Cottage is excellent for large groups with queen size beds and ensuites in every room.
